TAHFM is proud to recognize board member and Assistant Director of Support Services, Texas Children’s Hospital, Allan Watkins, MIM, BScBA, CHFM, RPA, SMA, SMT, who has earned the Senior (SASHE) designation from the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE). This honor is awarded to members in good standing for at least five years who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, service and commitment to advancing the profession. Allan will be formally recognized at the 2026 Health Care Facilities Innovation Conference.

Earlier this month we celebrated TAHFM board members Taylor Vaughn, MBA, CHFM, CHC, SASHE, Jacob McCall, MBA, CFHM, SASHE, and Allan Watkins, MIM, BScBA, CHFM, SASHE, RPA, SMA, SMT for their graduation from the ASHE Leadership Institute! After four years of focused learning, self-reflection, team leadership, and navigating change, they’ve emerged with a clear leadership point of view.

Their commitment strengthens not just themselves, but the entire healthcare facilities community. Congrats to these dedicated leaders!

How to Access TAHFM HAT
Sign in to the TAHFM HAT site with your TAHFM membership credentials and visit the course library to view all available content. Courses are divided into five categories to help you easily find the education you need: Administration, Compliance, Construction, Engineering and Sustainability. All courses on this site are approved for ASHE continuing education credit hours. After completing a course, you will find your CEC certificate under the Certificates tab.
