TAHFM Committees
TAHFM Committees perform tasks all year long that are vital to the success of the organization. Committees meet on their own schedule and provide reports to the board of directors. An organization is only as strong as the committees who make things happen to achieve success.  Select committees are available for Industry Partners too!  Get more details and sign up at https://www.tahfm.org/page/volunteer

I hold a secondary grade stationary engineers license and looking to get my CHFM.

How has TAHFM/ASHE contributed to your career?
It has greatly helped in furthering my career and knowledge of all the different codes and regulations we deal with every day, as well as best practices throughout our industry. The educational information they provide is great.

Background into the field of healthcare facilities
I've worked for Memorial Hermann for 11 years now. I started as a maintenance mechanic and have pushed myself to learn more about the intricate systems we operate and take on more responsibility, learning about code compliance and safety management. I now hold my current position of Manager of my facility.

Personal Tidbit
I love spending time with my kids and spending time outdoors camping, fishing and hiking.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
Every day brings on challenges and situations that make you think on the spot and resolve them. I have a great team that supports and believes that we do matters, and they always strive to make this a safe place for patients and staff.

What are your plans for future growth?
Always looking to learn more I am currently working on obtaining my business degree.
