How has TAHFM/ASHE contributed to your career?
I cannot say enough about TAHFM. This organization continues to truly be a huge asset that has contributed to my success in the healthcare field. I have belonged to many organizations from a board member to a vice chair for various roles in those organizations. ASHE is also to be acknowledged by providing the necessary tools to help one advance in their career.

Background into the field of healthcare facilities
I started out sweeping floors in 1978 at a medical office building. I did not like it, but it was a way for me to get into a field that I had set my eyes on. I was fortunate to work with a chief Engineer that saw I took pride in my work and the rest of my career evolved from one man that took a chance on me. In closing, thanks to many people that had faith in me, I have grown way past my own expectations.

Personal Tidbit
I am an avid Motorcycle rider. Every chance I get I ride my 2016 Goldwing up to Arkansas and spend several days riding through the mountains as well as being an avid shooter. My two prized weapons are a 1942 All original German K98 8mm Mauser Sniper rifle and an all original British Enfield (303).

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love challenges and health care are full of them. Every day is a new experience. Healthcare is a field that when you think you have seen it all, you have not. Something is going to surprise you.
