TAHFM Board 2016 Strategic Planning Update

President Michael Hatton’s "Big Hairy Audacious Goal" to significantly increase membership has continued to gain traction. We are poised to set a record of 700 members this year! Board members discussed several ways to increase retention and to attract new members to move us towards our goal of 310 hospitals in the next two years.
Recognizing the need to attract the next generation of Facility Managers, we began exploring ways to utilize social media and online content. Creating this content and delivering it in a consistent and meaningful way to existing and potential membership will be quite an undertaking. However, we are excited about the opportunity and committed to developing platforms that will attract and support tomorrow’s leaders.
Speaking of tomorrow’s leaders, we are proud to announce that our scholarship program continues to improve and attract future managers. We are now offering up to $2500 for facility managers and students pursuing careers in healthcare facilities management.
We have several new and exciting ideas to improve on our annual Interlink conference. Register early and plan to be in Houston for another great growing and learning experience.
