This adjunct instructor position requires teaching 10-20 hours weekly of intensive English for academic purposes in the Intensive English or Advantage VT pathway program. Instructors will uphold a leadership role in the future direction of the program and in curriculum planning. Qualified and experienced EAP faculty are a critical component in providing students opportunities for success and are integral to the team approach we take in preparing students for university study. During the time between sessions, instructors will handle pre- and post-term obligations.

We're thrilled to invite you to submit proposals for two premier TESOL events: the TESOL 2027 International Convention & Expo, held in Houston, Texas, USA, 15-18 March 2027, and the TESOL 2026 Virtual Convention, happening online from 20-21 November 2026! For TESOL 2027, you'll also have the chance to submit Preconvention Institutes. Proposals are due 8 June.
TESOL Press is launching a new book series on Workplace English and invites applications for a Series Editor to help shape this important initiative. The selected editor will also author the first volume (publication August 2027), which will establish a practical framework for needs assessment, curriculum design, and instruction in career-focused English programs. Subsequent volumes will focus on specific industries and include both guidance for educators and adaptable classroom materials. Submit your proposal by 31 May 2026.
TESOL Press invites proposals for two new TESOL Zip Guides: one focused on second language writing and one on teaching speaking. TESOL Zip Guides are compact, six-panel resources designed for busy educators. They distill key concepts into highly practical tools that can be immediately applied in the classroom. Proposals are due by 15 June 2026.

TESOL is seeking volunteer leaders for president-elect, the board of directors, and the Nominating Committee. You can learn more about eligibility and responsibilities for these roles on our website. If you're interested and meet the eligibility requirements, you can submit an Expression of Interest form by 30 June 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
