This month on Everyday Asphalt, Jim Warren and TxDOT’s Michael Dawidczik talk about all things aggregate. Learn about the significant role of aggregates in asphalt pavement, what TxDOT's BRSQC is and how to use it, what tests it runs and why they matter, and what you should know about SAC A aggregates. The conversation wraps up with sustainability and a look into the future of aggregates.  Winter weather can expose outdoor workers to frostbite, hypothermia, and cold stress, all of which can be fatal. It is important to know the wind chill temperature to better prepare and perform the work safely. Follow these work practices to stay safe in cold weather:
