Congratulations to the winners of the 2021 Asphalt Road-eo Detective from Louisiana Tech University! Thanks to our members' record-breaking contributions to the TXAPA Scholarship Program this year, we were able to award each individual from the winning team $2,000 (compared to $1,000 in years past). The runner-ups from The University of Texas at El Paso will receive $1,000 for their hard work, as well. Great job, everyone!

Buckling up is the single most effective thing you can do to protect yourself in a crash. According to TxDOT, Texas saw a 16% increase in deaths of unbuckled motorists in 2020, totaling 1,073 fatalities.
