Up Front
Join us September 21-24 at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio for an IN-PERSON, elevated experience you won't soon forget!

At this time, the hotel is following Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s orders and will not require masks or social distancing among its guests. Hotel employees WILL wear masks and the hotel will continue with its Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment which builds on its already rigorous safety and cleanliness protocols.

We are taking extra precautions by adding more serving stations during our receptions and having fewer chairs at tables during large events. We encourage meeting attendees to take any additional measures they feel are appropriate including wearing a mask and/or social distancing. TXAPA will provide color-coded lanyards to help everyone have the meeting experience with which they are most comfortable.

If you haven’t already registered for the TXAPA Annual Meeting, you can still REGISTER HERE. If you are registered and would like to add to your experience, read on for all the details!

TXAPA GOLF TOURNAMENT
Benefitting the TXAPA Scholarship Program, this year’s tournament is played on the Hill Country Golf Club’s championship course consisting of 27 holes. We will host not one, but two opportunities to shoot a hole-in-one and win a golf cart! The tournament is a four-man scramble and will begin with a shotgun start at 10 AM on Tuesday 9/21. To play in the tournament, make sure to check the box during the meeting registration under “Sessions.”

SPORTING CLAY SHOOT
Held at the National Shooting Complex, one of the premier shooting facilities in the world, the TXAPA Sporting Clay Shoot registration includes Certified Instructor(s), ammunition, loaner guns (you may also bring your own), eye and ear protection, drinks, and post-shoot luncheon. To register for the clay shoot make sure to check the box during the meeting registration under “Sessions.” To add the clay shoot to an existing meeting registration, click here.

DONATE TO THE SILENT AUCTION
TXAPA’s Silent Auction is always filled with a carefully selected mix of most-wanted items for maximum bidding fun! There's something for everyone. Your cash donation gets your name on one or more items as the donor of the item(s). To learn more, contact Steve Roensch.

EXHIBITOR OPPORTUNITIES
Always a big attraction, this year’s Expo includes 30 exhibitors and a Technology Showcase on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 22. There are still a few exhibit opportunities remaining but don’t wait too long – space is extremely limited. During registration select “Exhibitor – Yes.” A table is priced at $1,300 and includes one complimentary registrant. To add an exhibitor opportunity to an existing meeting registration, click here.

HOTEL ROOMS
Due to an enthusiastic response, we quickly sold out of rooms at the main meeting venue, the Hyatt. Don’t worry though, TXAPA has contracted plenty of rooms at the very nearby Hilton (.8 miles near to be exact). Even though the proximity is within walking distance, we know even a short trek can be in the Texas heat can take some effort so we have contracted tour busses to move our overflow hotel guests to and from the Hyatt. To register for the Hilton, click here.

EXTRA TICKETS TO WADE BOWN AND RANDY ROGERS
We are excited to welcome back Wade Bowen to the TXAPA Annual Meeting. This year, his friend and collaborator Randy Rogers will join him for Hold My Beer and Watch This, Vol. II. We are offering a limited number of tickets for those who wish to attend the Scholarship Night festivities and who are NOT registered to attend any other part of the meeting. If you need an additional ticket, please contact Lauren Selvik.

SESSION AND EVENT ACCESS
Nametags will be absolutely required to enter any session listed on the meeting agenda. A TXAPA wristband will be absolutely required in order to enter Thursday night's Live Concert Event with Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen. If you have questions about your nametag or wristband during the meeting, please see Lauren Selvik at the Registration Desk.

As majority of young students return to school in person this fall, drivers must be aware of the potential dangers of traveling through school zones. The combination of high numbers of pedestrians and young, inexperienced teen drivers make school zones especially perilous. Every year, about 21,000 children are injured in school zones. Statistics show that two-thirds of drivers exceed school zone speed limits. Follow these safety tips when traveling through school zones.
