Registration is now available! Houston, Texas, March 6-8, 2018 Long before the plant produces mix, key elements of quality for the project are determined. The development of the quality control plan and the relationships established at the pre-paving meeting are critical to the overall success of the project. This session provides a comprehensive look at pre-paving meetings and the quality control plans necessary to construct quality pavements. Chuk Fuller and Larry Welch will present "Quality Starts at the Pre-Paving Meeting" on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 7:30 AM until 9:00 AM in room 361 C. Attendees will learn the critical importance of communication as a tool for a successful project, discover the five critical sections for building a quality control plan, and establish the critical areas of the pre-paving meeting. Larry Welch will attend TTI’s 36th Annual Texas Aviation Conference as an exhibitor March 27-29 at Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas where he will promote asphalt as a great choice for airport runways and roads.
Larry Welch will educate the public about the sustainable, environmentally friendly properties of asphalt pavement at EARTHx at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, April 20-22. EARTHx is the world's largest eco-conference and exhibition.
