The Texas Department of Transportation, the AGC of Texas and the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association (TXAPA) are hosting a series of 10 Hot Mix Specification Conferences beginning January 30, 2013. These conferences are a cooperative effort between TxDOT and the paving industry to update individuals on five New Special Specifications for HMA.

TXAPA is looking forward to our 6th Annual 2013 Mid Year Meeting! This year we are headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming in the Grand Teton Mountains. The meeting dates are June 17-19, 2013.

TxDOT has completed shipping out the 2013 HMAC Proficiency Samples. At this time all Level 1A and Level 1A-E technicians should have their samples. Please make sure that all technicians within your firm have received them. This is a mandatory program and is required for all Level 1A HMA certified technicians. The deadline to submit results online is March 7, 2013. ALL RESULTS MUST BE LOGGED IN ONLINE.
