TxDOT / TXAPA Quality in Pavement Award Nominations
The 2016 TxDOT / TXAPA Quality in Pavement Award nominations have been emailed to the regular membership and TxDOT districts. Nominations for TxDOT projects are now open. There are a total of eight categories of awards:
- Full Depth Large
- Full Depth Large Open Graded
- Full Depth Small
- Full Depth Small Open Graded
- Overlay Large
- Overlay Large Open Graded
- Overlay Small
- Overlay Small Open Graded
- Thin Overlay Mix
Both TXAPA Contractors and TxDOT can nominate projects for awards. In order for a project to be evaluated, it must have been constructed and completed in 2015 and the contractor must be a TXAPA member. The deadline for submitting nomination forms on projects is May 15, 2016.
