Dr. Jon Epps Honored with Bob M. Gallaway Award, TXAPA/TxDOT Quality Seal Coat Awards Program

At the Annual Meeting in September, Dr. Jon Epps of the Texas A&M University Transportation Institue or TTI was recognized as the recipient of the Bob M. Gallaway Award for his role in developing the Quality Sealcoat Initiative Workshops. Gallaway Award winners have shown considerable commitment and dedication to quality seal coat in Texas. The TXAPA Quality Sealcoat Initiative Committee, led by Kevin King of Missouri Petroleum, selects the winner.
Shortly after accepting the Gallaway Award, Dr. Epps was asked to receive another accolade; the lending of his name to the TXAPA/TxDOT Quality Seal Coat Awards Program. King presented Dr. Epps with a framed document with the inscription, "With the Highest Respect and Sincere Appreciation, We Honor Dr. Jon Epps for His Continued Service to the State of Texas and the Texas Seal Coat Industry. His Commitment to "Getting It Right," and His Lifelong Endeavor to Help Others Exemplify the Spirit in Which We Establish the Dr. Jon. Epps TXAPA/TxDOT Quality Seal Coat Awards Program."
