TXAPA Members Raise 527k for the Scholarship Program!

Under the leadership of 2019 TXAPA President Bill Thomas and Scholarship Auction Committee Chair Slate Angel, the Association planned and executed another successful live and silent auction benefitting the TXAPA Scholarship Program. Our biggest year yet, 2019 saw TXAPA members generously donate more than $527,000. Last year's auction under President Albert Schlather was a record breaker as well, raking in $517,000. We at the Association offer a heartfelt thank you to each and every member who donated, purchased, or otherwise supported our efforts to continue changing the lives of our deserving scholarship recipients.
The evening ended with a celebration featuring Texas Music Star Wade Bowen. Bowen and his band gave a stellar performance of their original music and treated the crowd to interpretations of several classic rock standards as well. Scholarship Night was sponsored by Knife River, R.K. Hall Construction, Austin Materials, and Texas Materials Group, A CRH Company (reception and dinner) and Angel Brothers, Century Asphalt, ROMCO Equipment, and McCourt & Sons (Wade Bowen).
