Jose Mata, our Level 2 technician of the year hails from West Texas. During his time at CSA Materials he has risen from Technician to QC Manager through his hard work, technical ability, and professionalism. He is known to work long hours and weekends to ensure the quality product of twelve quarries and three hot mix plants covering 80,000 square miles of West Texas. He played an instrumental role in the design and testing of premier tire track facilities like Continental, Cooper, Firestone, and Goodyear. When asked about Jose Mata, a TxDOT representative said, "Jose works tirelessly in formulating a mix that will give us maximum life, compaction, and durability and I respect his dedication to quality and his commitment to go the extra mile".
