2018 Level 1A Technician of the Year

Humberto Uresti, our Level 1A technician of the year has worked for the Pharr District for almost 21 years. He started his career working in the district's soils department, and in 1999 was placed in charge of all hot mix. Humberto has played an integral role in the quality of millions of dollars of hot mix in the last 19 years. He was promoted to the lab lead worker in June 2015 and his leadership has been a crucial part of the Pharr District’s Quality Assurance program. He is the "go to guy" for all material issues and in diagnosing and finding solutions at the plant and in the field and plays a vital role to the District’s goals of quality and excellence.
