Hurricane Harvey and the Annual Meeting

In light of the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, here's what you need to know.

 

At this time, the 2017 TXAPA Annual Meeting is scheduled to go on as planned, September 19-22, 2017 at La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa. The meeting venue is located in Montgomery County, several miles outside the northernmost borders of the city of Houston and sufficiently away from the flooding.

 

While our meeting plans have not changed, we understand that many of our members, their families and businesses have been impacted by this once in a lifetime, catastrophic weather event. We are still learning the full extent to which they have been affected.

 

We urge all of our members who are able, to consider donating to help ease the burdens of those having lost so much in Houston and the surrounding areas including Corpus Christi, Rockport, Port Aransas, Dickinson, and Beaumont to name only a few.

 

We look forward to seeing you all at the meeting and putting our troubles behind us, if even for just a little while.
