Safety in the Workplace Series: Strategies for Safer Work Zones
Date: Tuesday, April 25, 2:00–3:30 p.m. EDT
Speaker: Bruce Drewes, 3T Group and Greg Stefan, Arch Insurance Group

Road construction work zones are inherently dangerous places. Occupational injuries and fatalities within a work zone often occur from two causes: internal construction vehicle traffic or external third-party vehicular intrusions. Hear from industry experts about ways to effectively train construction crews to recognize and minimize these hazards, the importance of implementing and documenting traffic control plans, and how to minimize potential liability associated with work zone intrusions.

Key Takeaways:
• Understand the differences between external and internal traffic control plans and how to implement both
• Recognize the importance of inspecting and documenting work zone conditions
• Identifying some best practices for enhancing work zone safety

Registration:
