Environmental Product Declarations: What They Are and How to Use Them

With the upcoming launch of NAPA’s Emerald Eco-Label program, it is critical that Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) users understand the process involved in creating an EPD program. Additionally, producers who create EPDs for their asphalt mixtures need to know who is requesting EPDs and how to use the outputs of the tool. This webinar will provide the participant with the necessary information to talk with clients and owners about Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Product Category Rules (PCRs), EPDs, and how to use them correctly. This is the first of two webinars required for accessing the EPD tool.

How to Use Emerald Eco-Label: NAPA's EPD Tool

In conjunction with TriSight LLC, NAPA has developed Emerald Eco-Label, a tool that streamlines the process of creating an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). This webinar prepares participants to use the tool and get their own EPDs. From what data is needed to run the program to how NAPA ensures the quality of the program, join the tool’s creators for a guided tour of the Emerald Eco-Label program. This is the second of two webinars required for accessing the EPD tool.
