NCAT Publishes Flexible Pavement Design State of the Practice Report

The National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) has published a new report entitled Flexible Pavement Design - State of the Practice (NCAT Report 14-04). The goal of this report is a summary for practicing engineers that describes, compares, and contrasts the primary pavement design procedures and summarizes approaches used across the US for asphalt pavement design. The report covers the following design methods: AASHTO Empirical Pavement Design, Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design, Perpetual Pavement Design and more.
