The International Conference on Perpetual Pavement (ICPP) 2014 will be held October 30-31, 2014, at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris in Columbus, Ohio.

This is the only conference focused solely on Perpetual Pavement: flexible pavements designed with a lifetime over 50 years of service with only periodic surface renewal. Perpetual pavements contain a surface layer of high quality asphalt that resists rutting and traffic wear, intermediate layers of high modulus asphalt that provides structure and also resists rutting, and a fatigue resistant bottom layer for crack resistance. Perpetual pavements are becoming popular with transportation agencies seeking to reduce lifecycle costs and eliminate user impacts associated with pavement reconstruction. At the previous International Conferences on Perpetual Pavement, over 250 experts representing over a dozen countries and 30 states, came together to share their knowledge, research, and experiences with Perpetual Pavement. Nineteen state departments of transportation sent a representative.

ICPP 2014 is structured around presentations on research and practical issues such as design verification and calibration, modeling, instrumentation, monitoring, and construction and maintenance and includes two keynote speakers. Professional Development Hours will be available.
