Level 2 Mix Design Committee

TXAPA would like to announce that a Level 2 Mix Design Committee was established to evaluate, coordinate and work with the Asphalt Pavement Industry in a cooperative fashion to provide technical assistance and direction to constantly changing specifications and requirements. The 2014 Chair is David Morton and the first meeting was held on April 26th with a great turn-out from Industry and TxDOT leaders from across the state. We like to thank Robert Lee and special guest Gisel Carrasco for dedicating their time to this committee. At the end of the day this committee generated a list of eight action items that will be worked on diligently over the next coming months and then will release this information to all industry partners for education and guidance.
