Howdy! Message from Jimmy Whited

Howdy! 

First I like to introduce myself! I am Jimmy Whited, Jr., the new Director of Technical Services for the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association. I have been in quality control for 19 years. I started off as a technician at Trinity Engineering, which later was acquired by Kleinfelder. After 10 years of extensive training I then moved on and became Quality Control Manager with Ramming Paving Company, where I spent the next nine years.

With that being said, the Technical Talk is back with new and approved topics. Beginning February 15, TXAPA will be sending the bulletin in addition to other TXAPA’s other communications. This bulletin will be in an emailed out twice a month. The bulletin will be titled "TXAPA Technical Talk." The main focus of "TXAPA Technical Talk" will be technical reminders and best practices that will enable you to be more "quality focused" in your operations.
