APA Offers Five-Part MEPDG Implementation Course:

The Asphalt Pavement Alliance recently completed a five-part webinar series on Mechanistic Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG) implementation and asphalt pavements. The sessions were designed for DOTs, but the archived series is now available to the public.

Topics covered include pavement design, local calibration, individual distress models, major inputs, and moving beyond data inputs. The sessions are led by David Newcomb, Ph.D., P.E., Senior Research Scientist with the Texas Transportation Institute, and Kevin Hall, Ph.D., P.E., Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Arkansas.
