Hot Mix Asphalt Center - Updates

Our classes continue to fill up quickly.  Please plan ahead and schedule technicians well in advance to avoid lapses in certification.  Technicians may recertify anytime but once their certification expires they can no longer work on projects requiring certification. The rules of certification are explained on our website, www.txhmac.org under "Certification Levels". 

We have created nineteen new classes since the beginning of May and will continue to do so as needed.  New classes are created after a waiting list of six or more technicians is generated. To be placed on a waiting list please contact Robin Strong by email at rstrong@texasasphalt.org or by phone at (512)312-2099. 

The new schedule for 2014 will be posted on our website by the end of the month.  Check periodically; once classes are listed technicians may enroll for those classes.
