There is a new test procedure for black base.  It is available for viewing on our website, www.txhmac.org.

Our classes are filling up quickly and new ones are being created each week.  Nineteen new classes have been created since May 1.  The 2013 Hot Mix Asphalt Center calendar is available on our website.  Open dates are listed where a class can be added if needed.

New classes are created after a waiting list of six or more technicians is generated. To be placed on a waiting list please contact Robin Strong by email at rstrong@texasasphalt.org or by phone at (512) 312-2099.  It is important to note that the Center will work with any company to fulfill certification needs. We also offer off-site soil classes if a company has the equipment necessary to teach the class and the time requested is available.

Technicians may recertify at anytime but once their certification expires they can no longer work on projects requiring certification. Be sure to contact the Center if you have any questions regarding the rules of certification.

Payment for classes is due prior to taking the class. Credit cards are now accepted at the Hot Mix Asphalt Center for your convenience.
