TXAPA Strategic Planning Session Held, Dues Structure Task Force Established

In order to better address industry needs each year TXAPA holds a Strategic Planning Session to identify and deliver actions and activities to enhance the progress of asphalt pavement in Texas. The SPS Group is comprised of the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, Past Presidents’, and Board representatives of the Associate Members and Major Associate Members. 

This year it was clearly evident that our needs and goals far outweigh our current resources. Following discussion it was decided that since TXAPA dues have not been increased since 1997 that a Dues Task Force should be established to thoroughly analyze our dues structure and deliver a new recommended dues structure for the membership’s consideration. Joining the Finance Committee on the Dues Structure Task Force include Wade Miller, Julie Evans, Kal Kincaid and Chuck Fuller. The first meeting of the task force is scheduled for February 19 and they have been requested to have a recommendation within six months.
