HMAC Level 1B Goes to 4 Days Beginning in January 2013
The Hot Mix Asphalt Center Level 1B course is going to be a 4 day course beginning in January, 2013.
In each class that is taught at the Hot Mix Asphalt Center, students are given an evaluation form to fill out for that class. With each Level 1B class, a majority of students ask for more time. Because of these evaluations and the fact that there is so much information that is covered under the Level 1B, we feel it is best to add an extra day to not only improve the course, but to also give each student more time to process what they are learning.
Another change that will take effect January 2013 with the Level 1B is that lunch will no longer be provided. Each student will have an hour to an hour and a half break for lunch.
The Hot Mix Asphalt Center is always striving to improve the program and work with our partners to ensure a successful program.
