TXAPA Member J.Lee Milligan Advances to 2nd Round of NAPA's Sheldon G. Hayes Award Nominations

Eight paving projects are being considered for the prestigious Sheldon G. Hayes Award. Engineers from the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) reviewed each of the 2011 Quality in Construction Award winners, and the eight highest-scoring highway projects over 50,000 tons were advanced to the next round of consideration for the Hayes Award.

The companies are: J. Lee Milligan Inc. of Amarillo, Texas; Cessford Construction Co., An Oldcastle Materials Co., of LeGrand, Iowa; IA Construction Corp. of Zelienople, Pa.; Knife River Corp., Idaho Division, of Boise, Idaho; Knife River Materials of Bemidji, Minn.; Norris Asphalt Paving Co. of Ottumwa, Iowa; The Shelly Co., An Oldcastle Materials Co., of Thornville, Ohio; and Tri-State Paving, An Oldcastle Materials Co., of Estherville, Iowa.
