UPDATE - TxDOT’s Proposed Asphalt Pavement Specifications

Since TxDOT published the 2nd round draft versions of the proposed special specifications Item 340, 341 (Special Specification 3224), 342, 344, and 346, TXAPA's Specification Committee reviewed them at TXAPA's Mid Year meeting in Lake Tahoe and held a joint meeting with AGC to further develop comments to the proposed specifications. 

TXAPA compiled all comments from its members along with discussions and comments from the meeting with AGC and sent them to TxDOT and has since met with TxDOT to further discuss these comments.  Additional information will be available during our Annual Meeting.  (September 18-21 at the Horseshoe Bay Marriott in Horseshoe Bay, Texas)  If you have any questions or comments, you may contact Kyle Swaner at (512) 312-2099 or kswaner@texasasphalt.org.
