The Texas Asphalt Pavement Association (TXAPA) is excited to announce the unveiling of our new website and website address. In our continuous effort to meet the needs of the TXAPA membership and external partners in quality TXAPA has developed a website that is full of information about our association activities and the benefits of asphalt pavements. Beginning on Jan. 3, 2012 the new TXAPA website address will be www.TexasAsphalt.org.

2012 TXAPA President Derek Angel recently stated, "Our industry is changing in Texas as well as nationally. Recently the National Asphalt Pavement Association changed their focus to asphalt pavements for their branding and we felt the time had come to change our brand and identity to something that better reflected who we are. Our website and new logo were professionally developed to accurately portray TXAPA as a progressive and contemporary association that has a fresh approach for a bright future. Our mission is focused on asphalt pavements whether they are warm mix or hot mix. We want to advance and promote asphalt pavements inclusively."

The new Web page will have a member only log-in location. Please use it to log in to be able to see content not available to non-members. At this time only official association representatives from each member firm will be able to log in. If you are unable to log in, please contact Stephanie Buckberry to help you with your log-in information. Association representatives will receive an email today with their username and password. This combination will not be the same as your previous log in.

In addition to the new website address TXAPA has a new address for our emails. We are replacing txhotmix with TexasAsphalt. The following will be the new email addresses for the TXAPA staff:

We urge you to visit our new website and update our email addresses. Please look around the website and give us comments on what additional information you would like to see on your association website. Your support and feedback on the new site is appreciated and we look forward to building the Web page into a communication tool that will enhance the use of asphalt pavements and TXAPA.
