TxAPA Needs Your Recommendations for Potential Recipients of its Civil Engineering Scholarship Program

The Texas Asphalt Pavement Association solicits your recommendations for potential recipients of its Civil Engineering Scholarships. This program is funded solely by the TxAPA "Ron Flanagan Scholarship and Education Live and Silent Auction" which takes place each year at the association Annual Meeting.

The scholarship requirements are below, along with a recommendation form to be returned to the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association. The nomination form must be received by Oct. 1st, 2011.

We are most interested in a solid student, sophomore level or above, who has demonstrated an interest in this field through their choice of summer or part-time employment. This student should also be attending an accredited university in the state of Texas. The grade point average is not significant as long as the student is solid and consistent. We want those students who may very likely pursue the road building industry as a career in Texas after completion of their education.

If you have such a student employed by your organization, or know of such a student, we would appreciate your recommendation. Please contact this office with any questions you might have. Recommendations must be received by Oct. 1st, 2011. Please return your recommendation to:
