Your Scholarship Nomination is Needed

The Texas Asphalt Pavement Association solicits your recommendation for potential recipients of its Civil Engineering Scholarships. This program is solely funded by the TxAPA "Ron Flanagan Scholarship and Education Live and Silent Auction" that takes place each year at the Association Annual Meeting.

The scholarship requirements have been mailed to all Association Representatives, TxDOT District Engineers, Universities, and have been placed onto our website.  The nomination form must be received by November 15th.

We are most interested in a solid student, sophomore level or above, who has demonstrated an interest in this field through their choice of summer or part-time employment. This student should also be attending an accredited university in the State of Texas. The grade point average is not significant as long as the student is solid and consistent. We want those students who may very likely pursue the road building industry as a career in Texas after completion of their education.

If you have such a student employed by your organization, or know of such a student, we would appreciate your recommendation of that student.
