The MAPS Conference & Equipment Trade Show is scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2023, 4 PM - Wednesday, May 17, 2023, 1:30 PM at Extraco Events Center BASE in Waco, Texas. Join TXAPA in Buda for a workshop covering Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), sustainability best practices, and an update from the TCEQ. Follow the link below to see the full agenda. The workshop will last from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 14, 2023 and includes lunch. 
 
 
Engineer Asphalt Essentials: Classes are held throughout six sessions, meeting from 9 AM - 12 PM CST twice weekly for three weeks. There is no enrollment fee.

Inspector Asphalt Education: Classes are held throughout six sessions, meeting from 8-10:30 AM CST twice weekly for three weeks. There is a $195 enrollment fee.

Certification News From the HMAC
 
The Texas Department of Transportation and the HMAC presents Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technicians an award for their efforts to achieve excellence in the performance of their assigned duties. This is an annual program to award excellence in Hot Mix and Soils Materials and Testing by HMAC Certified Technicians. QC/QA Technicians are an invaluable part of our industry. This program honors those who strive to be their best and who dedicate their careers to helping the industry be its best.
