As I sit back and reflect on this year’s conference, I can’t help but feel such a sense of joy and excitement. Yes, the conference is over, we had to leave our peers and all the fun behind us in The Woodlands. However, I can’t help but smile when I think about the amazing people we have serving our communities across Texas.
I want to say thank you to everyone who made this conference possible. From the staff at CMP Management who make it happen; to the keynote speakers who help inspire us to superhero leadership; to the dozens of speakers who volunteer their time and energy to share their experiences and provide us with phenomenal content; to the eight committees and their members who work tirelessly throughout the year to support the organization and conference; to our sponsors and affiliate members who we couldn’t put on the conference without; to the 472 attendees who made this year’s conference as memorable as any; and finally, to the entire TAGITM membership, who without each of you and our communities, would still be in the dark ages pushing paper. Thank you for seeing the forest from the trees and helping us all find new, innovative ways to serve our citizens and communities.
