The TAGITM Education Committee focused on bringing the information that members requested to this year’s conference. We introduced an exciting innovation track that featured topics such as smart cities and IOT presentations. The committee also provided an opportunity to get an early jump on things with Microsoft BI training orchestrated by Tangent. Thanks to TML and TAC, attendees were able to receive important insurance information from their respective pre-conference presentations. The pre-conference training event achieved excellent attendance and is an area that we would like to continue to cultivate.
Well, the excitement did not stop there.The keynote speaker, Bret Culp, delivered a compelling presentation on the positivity of the human experience. On day two attendees had the opportunity to hear from Professor Stephen Black about the often overlooked legal aspects of information technology.
I would like to encourage all members to continue to submit presentations and don’t forget to fill out those surveys! At the end of the day you are the most important voice to be heard to ensure the desired content is being delivered. I would like to give special thanks to all the education committee members for a job well done!
