Years ago, I set out simply wanting to make a difference in the organizations and communities I serve. This week was one of those highlights of my career with being elected President of TAGITM and receiving the HoustonCISO ORBIE Award for CISO of the Year in the corporate division. Both are such huge and incredible milestones along this journey.
Thank you to the members of TAGITM for entrusting me with leading this amazing organization. TAGITM has given so much to me over the years, and it’s a true privilege to give back and serve a community I deeply believe in.
A special thank you to Meg Toups for nominating me for the CISO of the Year award. Your belief in me means more than I can put into words.
I’m filled with gratitude for my family, friends, mentors, and my amazing team who have been with me every step of the way. Your belief inspires me to keep reaching higher. These achievements are a reminder that passion, perseverance, and teamwork make anything possible.
Thank you Joe Toste and TechTables for joining us at the TAGITM conference and highlighting so many incredible leaders and partners. It was a blast to sit and talk shop with Shane McDaniel MS, CGCIO, CISM, PMP, ITIL, Jose M., and Ted Gruenloh with Nomic Networks.
The answer is in the room. Don’t just stand at the door — step through it to your success.
I’m excited to continue serving and giving back to our community, and I’m energized for what lies ahead. Thank you all for being part of this journey! Here’s to serving, leading, and growing — together.
