TAGITM Beth Ann Unger Women in Technology Scholarship - Available Now!

The TAGITM Board has established the Women in Technology Scholarship in honor of long-time TAGITM member Beth Ann Unger, who passed away in 2023. This scholarship is open to female technology professionals looking to further their careers in the technology/IT field.

Recipients of the Women in Technology Scholarship recipients will be honored during the annual awards luncheon during the TAGITM Annual Conference taking place April 22-25 in San Antonio, Texas.

Scholarship Eligibility:

• Must be a female technology professional or a female enrolled in a technology education certification or degree program.
• Must be currently enrolled, have proof of future enrollment, or have proof of completion within the last six months of a technology course or certification program.
• Essay Response & Letter of Recommendation.

Selection Criteria:

• Preference will be given to TAGITM members and their children.
• Additional preference will be given to those enrolled in degree programs & the CGCIO program.
• The TAGITM Beth Ann Unger Education Foundation Board of Directors will also consider the applicant's career plan, leaving preference for those pursuing a career in information technology.
• Professional certificates and certifications will also be considered.

• Applicant Essay

All scholarship applications will be vetted through the Scholarship Committee, and recommendations will be submitted to the Executive Board for review. Please note the deadline for submissions is March 7, 2025.

We hope to honor Beth Ann’s Memory and let her live on through this scholarship each year.
