The 2023-2024 TAGITM Summit theme was "The Digital Force Awakens: Mastering Threat Hunting in the Cyber Galaxy." During the summit in Grand Prairie and the Woodlands, the CISA team led a hands-on experience in digital forensics. On one hand, it was a surprise to hear that the second summit in the Woodlands had a sold-out crowd. On the other hand, it was not a surprise because your surveys indicated that you wanted information on cybersecurity, and you showed up. The Education Committee works to support the educational vision you create through the surveys.
If you missed the first two digital forensic Summits, don't worry. During the pre-conference session of the 2024 Annual Conference in San Antonio on April 2-5, CISA will present "Digital Forensics Workshop II | Autopsy," so be sure to mark your calendar. We are also bringing back an all-time favorite on the last day of the conference when CISA will conduct a Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercise. We predict that this will be one of the most popular conference sessions, so plan to stick around for the last day.
The Education Committee received a record-setting 106 conference session proposals this year. There were so many great submissions that the committee could not select just 20. We had to add an additional track. With 25 to choose from, how will you decide which sessions to attend? I suggest you bring a team and divide and conquer.
You might also want to prepare your golf clubs for April. Yes, the conference committee heard y'all thanks to the feedback provided through our surveys. The Women in I.T. event is also returning. Let's keep the momentum that you started last year. We are adding more tables this year, and I hope we run out of room.
There are more exciting events, speakers, and announcements to experience at the 2024 TAGITM Annual Conference. Last year marked the 45th anniversary of TAGITM, but this year has the ingredients for one of the best TAGITM Annual Conferences ever. See you April 2-5 in San Antonio. We are "In It to Win I.T."
