TAGITM,

I don’t know about you, but the last 2 days have FINALLY been the first hint of autumn here in New Braunfels.  Oh, how I love this time of year!  And no, I don’t drink or eat anything “pumpkin spice.”  I just love the fall/winter.  Kinda crazy for a native Texan, but I ain’t exactly normal.

The fall is an exciting time for TAGITM.  Things really start to pick up for the organization as September comes to an end.  It’s likely the same for you and your organization.  New budgets are being set and you are getting ready to make a bunch of new year purchases, hiring new staff and kicking off highly anticipated projects.  TAGITM is really mobilizing on the educational front these days.  The Education Committee is working fast and furious to schedule and finalize content for the first two Educational Summits of the year.  The CyberSecurity Committee is working hard on our new partnership with TX-ISAO.  We have a contingent of folks scheduled to conduct a session at TML next week.  The Membership committee and CMP are working on renewals (Have you paid yours yet?) and new member recruitment.  Those are just some of the things we have going on these days, with many more in the works.

We are looking forward to accomplishing our goals for this year as a Board, and I greatly appreciate the effort everyone is putting in to get things rolling.  The Annual Conference will be here before you know it.  I hope everyone has a great start to their new fiscal year and enjoys some cooler temps and the aforementioned pumpkin spics assault that is coming, if that’s your thing.
