Texas DIR Launches Cybersecurity Training Reporting Portal

House Bill 3834 requires local government* employees and elected officials to complete cybersecurity training by June 14, 2020.  

The local government compliance report form is available and due by June 15, 2020. The form can be submitted by whomever the local government authorizes. The authorized individual submitting the form will need access to their email account as they will be required to enter a confirmation code to finalize the submission.

The supported browsers are Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Do not use Internet Explorer.

*Local government is defined in Texas Government Code, Chapter 2054 and includes a county, municipality, special district, school district, or other political subdivision of the state. If you have questions about whether your organization is considered a local government, please consult your legal counsel.
