Significant Technology Achievements: We’ve made significant strides in recent years to achieve redundancy. I think this is vital not only to provide support to the organization, but also to achieve growth along with it.

Plans for Future Technology Initiatives: We established a project management initiative last year and included two employees. Continuing to grow this as a PMO using best practices will be a great benefit for the city.

Most Challenging Project: Anything to do with the Microwave network. We have made great attempts to create a stable network from microwave and wireless, but there are so many variables that it makes the task extremely challenging.

Most Rewarding Project: I think the staff has enjoyed and appreciated being a part of the CAD/RMS replacement project. It is extremely time consuming, but has been very well-managed and the support from the end users has been incredible.

What is Most Valuable About Being a TAGITM Member: There really is nothing like being able to discuss technology initiatives with your peers. I love the conference and those opportunities to visit. The discussion is invaluable!
