Rev-Up Your HR Engine at the 8th Annual South Texas HR Symposium (STXHRS), the leading educational event for Human Resource Professionals in Central and South Texas. The symposium will provide a broad scope of important topics for current and future leaders.

The San Antonio Human Resources Management Association is leading the way with an outstanding educational event this year. The South Texas Human Resources Symposium, April 30 - May 1, promises to be the conference to attend in the South Texas area this spring. In its 8th year, the symposium takes place in San Antonio, Texas, one of the greatest areas to experience a real South Texas time.

The symposium will offer more than 30 concurrent sessions covering a wide scope of topics tied to the HR Body of Knowledge. More than 40 exhibitors will offer goods and services that will be of interest to you and your employees.

Two nationally recognized speakers will keynote the event. Best-selling author and business executive, Kevin Cope, will present the opening keynote address. His idea that business acumen is an essential characteristic of a business leader ties directly to the heart of the human resources profession. He will share many ideas and insights regarding this topic and will provide lessons learned from his 25 years as a business professional. Each paid conference attendee will receive a copy of Kevin’s new book "Seeing the Big Picture"

Military hero, J. R. Martinez, will deliver the luncheon keynote. Known for his heroic military service and for winning the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy on "Dancing with the Stars," Mr. Martinez will share his inspiring experiences with conference participants.
