The Learning Event is hosted by our student SHRM@A&M-SA chapter in partnership with the College of Business and Texas SHRM (State Council for the Society for Human Resource Management). The event has also been selected by Dr. Cynthia Teniente-Matson as an inauguration week event celebrating her appointment as the University's second president.

The event will feature panelists Chris Scherer, employment and labor law attorney; Sarwat Husain, president, San Antonio chapter, Council for American-Islamic Relations; Sahar Aziz, ACLU board member and associate professor, Texas A&M University School of Law; and Anthony Trevino, interim chief of police, city of San Antonio.
