Does studying aboard increase my chances of obtaining a job when I graduate?
It depends:
- What field you plan on pursuing when seeking a job
- How you plan on using the knowledge, skills and abilities you have obtained from the experience
However, here are some key factors for taking advantage of an opportunity to study aboard:
1. Experience other cultures, lifestyles and professions
2. Increase your proficiency in another language
3. Enhance networking opportunities
4. Make your resume stand out from others that have not had the experience
5. Provide first-hand experience in a global environment, especially to gain the attention of companies that are seeking that type of experience
