Fort Worth HR’s May meeting was held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth. Our Legal & Regulatory Hour, began at 10:15am and was free to those who had registered for the luncheon. This unique opportunity has become more successful with each passing month and May set a new attendance record! Our keynote speaker for the meeting was Jeff Hiller, Director of Training, JB Training Solutions who presented "The Good, Bad & Ugly: Critical Communication Skills for Conflict Resolution." Jeff is an excellent presenter with a true gift for comedic timing. He provides excellent information on the best ways of delivering feedback to your employees.

Mark your calendars!The Fourth Annual Strategic Mindset event is in the planning stages now. This fall conference will be held on Friday, September 20th at the Riley Center on the campus of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, 1701 W. Boyce, Fort Worth, TX 76115. This day-long event begins at 7:30am and is specifically focused on earning the often elusive HRCI STRATEGIC credits. Watch for more information coming soon.
