SSPC Now Offering On-site Classes for Trainthepainter Program

SSPC’s Trainthepainter Program is going on its fourth year. Since 2017, the program has been offered in two different formats; as an internal training program for contractors to utilize for their own employees, and as a licensed program for affiliate training and/or educational facilities to use to train craftworkers globally. New in 2020, Trainthepainter will be offered as an on-site class, much like SSPC’s many other course offerings.

In an effort to satisfy a wider variety of employer needs, the three modules of the training (which include applicator, abrasive blaster, and spray painter curriculum and hands-on workshops) can be brought to your facility with one of SSPC’s highly qualified instructors.

Additionally, the program is still offered as a buy-in for formal internal training. This means a contractor can purchase the program’s curriculum, exams, workshops, videos, and more to use at their own pace to train their new and seasoned craftworkers. The program is flexible and can be tailored to fit your company’s specific needs.

Regardless of the route taken, the Trainthepainter program will prepare your craftworkers to pass SSPC’s C6, C7, C12, and CAS Level 1 and 2 exams, as well as fulfilling the QP Program need for having a formalized internal training program.
