SSPC Dues Help Hurricane Relief Efforts

Lately, the airwaves have been dominated by news about the hurricanes that devastated parts of the United States. We have all seen the headlines and news programs that showed us devastating property damage, loss and shattered lives. Sadly, the suffering for many Americans affected by the hurricanes will continue long after the news coverage ends.

SSPC is conducting a membership drive from October 1 to December 31, 2017 where we will donate 5 percent of all individual membership dues revenue generated during this time to the Brother’s Brother Foundation.

Brother’s Brother Foundation is a gift-in-kind charity that focuses on medical and educational needs around the world. BBF has served 149 countries worldwide with over 105,000 tons of medicines, medical equipment, textbooks, educational supplies and emergency disaster aid since its founding in 1958.

In 2016, the foundation was:

Our arrangement with Brother’s Brother is that the funds collected by SSPC will go directly to hurricane relief efforts. Five percent of all dues payments for every new or renewed membership will be counted in the contribution. So, if you are renewing your membership or just joining SSPC before December 31, 2017, your dues will count toward this contribution. We hope that you will help us in our efforts to grow our membership and provide much needed hurricane aid at the same time.

We hope to raise at least $5,000 during the campaign. Even if your membership is due to renew after December 31, you can renew early and make your dues payment count toward the contribution. If you would like to know when your membership is due to renew, please contact us at 1-877-281-7772 or email Marina Pahountis at pahountis@sspc.org. You can renew your membership online at www.sspc.org/Marketplace/Membership or just call and we can take your credit card information over the phone.

As always, we appreciate your support of SSPC and thank you for choosing SSPC as your coatings association.
