New Standards Download Tool for SSPC Members

In June of 2019, SSPC launched a new website designed to make information easier to access for visitors, and offers new opportunities for members to engage with the organization. One of the most frequently requested improvements was enabling easier access to SSPC Standards.
Previously, all users had to go through an inconvenient shopping cart checkout process via the SSPC Marketplace to purchase and download standards. Even members, who can download standards for free, had to follow the same checkout process. Needless to say, members found it frustrating and inconvenient. Fortunately, with the debut of the new website, SSPC had the tools to create a solution for members that would enable them download standards at their convenience with just one click.
Click here for the new Standards Download Tool launched in July. To access the Standards, members can now follow a simple 3-step process:
1. Go to https://www.sspc.org/standards/
2. Login to your account
3. Find standards and download
The tool allows users to view both Active and Discontinued standards and is sortable by category. To download a standard, simply choose the category in the left column and then download the standard via the link in the right column.
Note that only Active standards can be downloaded. Users who wish to access a copy of a Discontinued standard must submit a request to the Technical Services department at SSPC. Non-members can also use the tool to find standards, however they will see an “Add to Cart” link rather than a “Download” link and will still need to go through the checkout process.
