SPFA News and Announcements
SPFA and its Board of Directors have made a commitment to the organization and the industry to enact a multi-year plan to bring in more members. While bringing in more members means more resources for us to fight the good fights for you, it also means that increasing demands placed upon SPFA by the industry, or in response to external challenges, can be more fairly spread across more companies. That’s good for everyone.

Trade associations find their strength in their member companies, along with the people that work for those companies and volunteer their time to make the organization, and resultantly their industry, better. SPFA is the vehicle for all of our members to do the jobs that are just too big for any one company.

Everyone knows we have a small staff, not unlike most of the companies reading this. We can’t do all of it alone either – from the technical programs that bring standardization and knowledge to the sprayfoam professional, to the critical marketing efforts that defend the reputation of SPF and counter damaging negative press, dealing with regulatory attempts by state and federal government, overseeing a national ISO certification program, putting on the big show every year, and a lot more. It all takes people and money and belief. That means you. For that we cannot adequately express our appreciation for you.

Every company faces different challenges, opportunities and issues. In this competitive, fast-moving industry that is sprayfoam insulation and roofing, you need every edge you can get. SPFA wants to be the group to give you that edge. We want to stand apart from the competition of other groups and associations you support so we can help you stand out from your own competition. We want to take all of the things you support as a member and make sure you are getting the most value from them. It all comes down to our investment in you, and your continuing investment in us.

Every long journey begins with the first step. Whether that means us taking this step to reinforce how important membership is to us and pursue the greatest numbers we can, or you taking a first step to get involved in something like a committee, certification or attending the show with your member discounts. Maybe it means using your customized SPFA Member Logo with embedded ID# on your website, on your rigs, or business cards to showcase your affiliation and involvement with the industry. Maybe it means your company getting leads and exposure through the SPFA Membership Directory and Buyers Guide printed annually and available all year long on the SPFA website, or letting us know about a code official problem we might be able to help on, in turn helping you and the industry.

Whatever it is that brings us together forms the fabric of our partnership and an agreement to make tomorrow better than yesterday in this industry. Please be sure to get your renewals sent in so we can keep it going with your support! And if you know someone that would make a great SPFA member please have them get in touch with us!

If you have questions on your membership, or anything SPFA related, please contact us at 800.523.6154, or info@sprayfoam.org.

The SPFA Membership Directory and Buyers' Guide is being updated for the 2019-2020 edition.  Member companies that are Accredited by the PCP will have their Accreditation Mark placed next to their listings in the directory.  Member companies that employ certified individual(s) will be noted with an asterisk.

Now is the time to complete your credentials so you can be recognized in the next printed edition.  Companies who have allowed their credentials to lapse still have time to renew so that you continue to receive the recognition you deserve.  Credentials must be current and complete as of June 14, 2019.
