SCAPA partners with MEBA to host "Focus on Your Future Friday: Science of Making Asphalt"

On January 29th, SCAPA partnered with MEBA to host a webinar titled, "Focus on your Future Friday: Science of Making Asphalt.” This webinar was intended for high school students in science class to connect curriculum to the real world. Students got to learn how asphalt was made and how engineers determine what asphalt “recipe” is right for each type of roadway. The webinar discussed STEM careers, employer expectations, required education and skills, and salary information related to the asphalt paving industry.
